Senior Engineering Leader Karan Mendiratta spearheads a globally distributed team of software engineers and managers at Salesforce, focusing on the development of Mulesoft Runtime Fabric iPaaS, driving innovation, scalability, and a high-performance team culture. Leveraging over a decade of experience in cloud infrastructure, network security, and distributed systems, he has spearheaded significant technical and operational advancements, notably expanding the team from 4 to over 22 engineers and bolstering system availability and compliance of the Runtime Fabric platform. Karan possesses expertise in Kubernetes, Go, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Openshift). He holds an MS in Electrical & Computer Engineering from UMass Amherst, where his research focused on parallel computing and secure data management. He also holds a patent for securing and retrieving sensitive data using indexable databases.
