In reality, it’s a collection of various communities consisting of unique individuals with differing experiences and skillsets - some of whom never cross paths with one another. Dev marketing teams dream of tapping into these communities by building a subset of developers devoted to their products and services, but often struggle to break through. AI dominates every technical conversation. As models improve, many technical teams are adopting AI as a coding assistant and, in some limited cases, as replacements for full time developers and technical staff. Vibe coding is replacing old fashioned GUI-style drag and drop low/no code systems. AI/ML models are improving in their ability to identify network anomalies, with some models capable of responding without human assistance. Chat interfaces make it easier for business executives to ask questions of their complex data, potentially reducing the need for on-staff analysts.
